How to care for your Leyland cypress
Your new Leyland cypress in bonsai form is generally very easy to care for and therefore also easy to handle for beginners. Nevertheless, there are a few things to keep in mind. The plant needs a sunny to partially shaded, sheltered location. Ensure the soil is consistently moist, humus-rich, and well-draining. It should not dry out, so you should water the Leyland cypress regularly. However, avoid waterlogging. You should cover the soil around the cypress with bark mulch. Generally, the plant is winter hardy, but you should protect it during harsh winters with prolonged periods of severe frost. If you keep the plant in a container, you must protect the pot from freezing during the winter. In spring, it is recommended to fertilize the Leyland cypress with pine needle fertilizer. You should also prune your plant once or twice a year. Enjoy the pleasantly resinous fragrance of the Leyland cypress's foliage. The Leyland cypress is a particularly exquisite ornamental tree that will enhance your garden or patio. Note: Delivered on a disposable pallet.
