On the palate, its fruity and fresh character unfolds with a medium body and a balanced interplay of sweetness and acidity. A delicate minerality with a subtle, creamy finish is the highlight.

A wine with history

The Lugana wine region was first documented in writing around 1,500 years ago. It is said that even the ancient Romans appreciated the wines from this region. The vines grow on clay and loam soils formed during the last Ice Age. These soils are primarily calcareous, dry, and stony. Combined with the microclimate influenced by nearby Lake Garda (mild temperatures and fresh breezes), the Trebbiano grape, used for Lugana wines, thrives particularly well. Since 1967, Lugana has carried the DOC (Denominazione di origine controllata) designation as a wine from a controlled designation of origin.

Enjoy Lugana best at a serving temperature of ten degrees Celsius.
