Classics in miniature
Pampas grass is an all-rounder for your garden: It's ideal as a solitary plant for your lawn, becomes an eye-catcher near water, or lends your patio a green atmosphere. With its compact growth and a height of approximately 50–120 cm, mini pampas grass fits perfectly even in smaller gardens and is very well suited for planters. In autumn, it produces decorative beige flower plumes that you can cut, dry, and use as decoration for your home. Compact growth: Ideal also for smaller gardens
The right care for your mini pampas grass
The plant prefers a sunny location with well-draining, fresh garden soil. The planting hole should be twice the size of the pot to allow the roots to develop well. The best planting distance is approximately 100 cm. After planting, press the plant down firmly and water it. After that, water your pampas grass every two to three days with about 10 liters of water per plant. For the first two to three weeks, make sure it never dries out completely. However, you should avoid waterlogging, as pampas grass does not tolerate it at all. The plant is undemanding and only has moderate water requirements. It benefits from good drainage in its container. To help the grass survive the winter, you should tie the foliage together in late autumn. Ideal for limited spaces and smaller gardens: The mini pampas grass impresses with its compact growth and beautiful flowers in late autumn.
