The radio is also equipped with innovative EWF1 (Emergency Warning Functionality) and Journaline technology. The integrated 2,600 mAh battery allows you to operate the radio without a power outlet for up to 15 hours of battery life. The activatable "Hotel Mode" saves important settings. Useful additional functions such as an alarm clock, sleep timer, and the display of current weather information round off the functionality of the compact Telestar multifunction radio. Regular EWF test runs are conducted nationwide and regionally. By the beginning of 2024, a new worldwide standard is to be implemented and introduced with a slightly modified name: EWS (Emergency Warning System).
