How to care for your oleander

Your Nerium oleander blooms in three attractive colors: red, pink, and white. Here's how to create a stunning display of color in your outdoor space. No matter where you choose to place your oleander bush, whether planted in the garden or in a pot on the balcony or patio, it will blend seamlessly into its surroundings. To ensure your oleander bush blooms with its three beautiful flowers, keep a few care tips in mind. The plant thrives in a sunny, sheltered location. When watering in a pot, use a saucer so excess water can be absorbed by the plant. Water close to the base of the plant. Use hard water (high in calcium), as this promotes growth and flowering. Choose a predominantly mineral-based potting mix that is calcareous and has a high clay or loam content. Your oleander is partially winter-hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to -5°C (23°F). During the fertilization phase, you should feed the oleander 1 to 2 times a week with flowering plant or container plant fertilizer. Enjoy the abundant blooms of your Oleander Trio XL bush.
