How to care for your olive tree
Your attractive olive tree is a solitary specimen and is delivered already at a considerable height. All you have to do is plant it and enjoy its growth up to a height of 4.5 meters. To ensure the crown develops a beautiful, dense shape, you should regularly prune the side branches. You could use the excess branches, for example, for door wreaths or hair wreaths. Your olive tree will also appreciate fertilizing once or twice a year. When choosing a location, opt for a sunny to partially shaded spot; the soil should be loamy, stony, and humus-rich. If you decide to plant your tree in the ground, dig a large planting hole and perhaps add a drainage layer. Avoid waterlogging. In winter, protect your tree's roots, trunk, and crown. If it's in a pot, simply move it to a location with temperatures around 10°C (50°F).
