The right care for your Photinia
To ensure you enjoy your Photinia 'Zauberkleid' for a long time, there are a few important points to consider. Generally, the Photinia is a fairly undemanding plant with moderate water requirements. The plant thrives in a sunny to partially shaded location. You don't need to pay attention to the soil type when planting, so planting in a container is also possible. In spring, you should fertilize your Photinia 'Zauberkleid' with a slow-release fertilizer. Because the plant is hardy, you don't need to do anything else during the winter. Thanks to its compact, slow-growing habit, the Photinia is ideally suited as a dense hedge plant or as a privacy screen.
