However, with the innovative tick twister, it's a breeze: Using the rotating attachment, the tick is easily twisted out without tearing or squeezing it. First, the guide sleeve is locked in place, the device with the appropriate attachment is positioned vertically, and then the device is started. The insect isn't removed by mechanical force; instead, the tick twister gently rotates to mimic the tick's natural detachment. The tick can be removed alive and unharmed from the skin. This process can be repeated as often as needed until the tick is completely removed.
